    Besides the friends I've made in the group, I've found that my leadership skills especially my confidence has improved a lot. I am able to comfortably put forward ideas and suggestions. I love that we choose the music we play, I enjoy searching for music and am always trying to find interesting pieces that aren't the standard orchestral repertoire.

    Music is something that has become heavily ingrained in my daily life, whether it is practising or listening, it brings me great joy. Through music I've been able to express myself, focus on a particular thing and connect with others who share the same passion, forming some great friendships. Music has become ingrained in my day to day life, whether that is listening or practising. I find that when I truly focus when playing my mind becomes clear and I calm down instantly. I love the various sounds that the flute produces, and the beautiful lines we normally get in orchestras.
